In my Journal you can find examples of recent work, tips for smaller sessions, your big day, and any current musings.
My mission is to capture and preserve the moments you treasure most. I believe that delivering exceptional images is only part of the story and that the experience you have working with me matters just as much. This is why I am constantly seeking opportunities to refine my craft and elevate the service I provide to my clients. While I am a Westchester based wedding and portrait photographer, I do not want to limit myself by my location only. As such, my recent trip to Kansas City to attend the RISE workshop, hosted by H&H Color Lab, is a testament to that commitment.
Attending RISE was not just another item to check off my professional development list. It was a three day deep dive into storytelling, branding, and full-service wedding photography. All with the goal of better serving you, my clients. I traveled halfway across the country to immerse myself in hands on learning opportunities, styled shoots, and business strategies tailored to photographers who want to create unforgettable experiences for their clients. The workshop was hosted by Vanessa Joy, an internationally recognized photographer sponsored by Canon and Profoto, and Meredith Ryncarz, a Savannah-based photographer with a knack for creating timeless imagery. Learning from these two experts was not only inspiring but also transformative.

Every workshop and learning experience I undertake is ultimately about you. My time at this workshop has equipped me with new tools and strategies to enhance your experience, from your initial inquiry to the moment you hold your heirloom album in your hands. Here are just a few ways this workshop will benefit you:

Vanessa Joy’s two-decade career has been defined by her ability to combine photojournalistic techniques with a boutique client experience. She has photographed weddings across NJ, NY, and TX and is celebrated globally for her artistry. Meredith Ryncarz, a former college professor turned wedding photographer, has a gift for creating imagery that becomes an anchor in family legacies. Learning from both of these accomplished professionals gave me invaluable perspectives on how to elevate my services for discerning clients like you.
One of the most exciting parts of the workshop was the styled shoot at The English Barn in Kansas. This picturesque venue, with its classic architecture and lush grounds, provided the perfect backdrop to practice storytelling through photography. Working alongside other photographers and under the guidance of Vanessa and Meredith, I refined my ability to create cohesive, compelling narratives. This experience gave me fresh ideas for capturing your wedding day in a way that feels timeless and authentic.
Another highlight was the mock sales session led by Vanessa and Meredith and seeing their different approaches. Vanessa focuses on sleek, album-centered presentations for NYC clients. This is because wall space can be scarce in this region. Meredith’s in-person, Southern hospitality-infused style reinforced the importance of tailoring every part of the client experience to meet your unique needs. She often has them looking at albums and wall art over a bottle of wine to enjoy reliving their wedding day. It also inspired me to refine my own approach, ensuring that every product I offer aligns with your vision and lifestyle.

RISE was more than a workshop; it was an investment in the future of my craft and my business. It is experiences like these that set me apart from other photographers. My continued pursuit of education and excellence allows me to serve my clients with a level of care, artistry, and professionalism that is truly unmatched.
